The volunteer led Hambleton FoodShare is open every Monday between 4pm and 6pm, and is located at Zion Church Hall – between Kitsons butchers and Ramsdens on Northallerton High Street. Should you need a parcel you are welcome to come along without a voucher or recommendation for your first visit. Then we will direct you to one of our agency partners.
What happens on my first visit?
- We realise how hard it is to come along, so you will be asked only a few questions to enable us to help you.
- You won’t be asked to show proof of benefits and other such details.
- We will give you information of how to get further help, according to your circumstances through our partner agencies who can issue foodshare vouchers. For a list of agencies who are able to provide you with further help and vouchers, please click here.
- You will be given your first food parcel, according to the size of your family. This will be enough food for three days and is made up of tins and packet goods, plus fresh bread and spread.
